We want to send a message to Boris Johnson and the other G7 leaders that people of faith in the UK and around the world expect them to put in place plans for a global and green recovery from the crisis which leaves no one behind.
We have endured another lockdown and a long winter, but the urgency of the climate crisis hasn’t changed. As spring emerges, so shall we, with the strength of our diversity and the unity of our voice.
It's been a while since our interfaith workshops on climate action in Leeds, Leicester and Manchester at the end of last year.
Thank you to everyone who took’ part in our movement building workshops last October and November. We would like to invite old friends and new to join us for a new set of workshops to build and strengthen our local relationships. With the UK set to host the G7 summit of nations in July and the critical UN climate talks (COP26) in November, now is the time for faith communities to reconnect, organise and plan to take action together against climate breakdown.
Join us and get ready to take action at our interfaith regional online workshops!
By participating you will: Reconnect and build relationships with others in your area Learn what campaigners putting their faith into action in your area have been working on since the last workshops Learn about Faith for the Climate’s work on COP26 and how you can get involved Discuss ideas for action you can take together with other faith communities in your area
